In 1986, Dr. David Lee Hagen joined the practice after the successful completion of his medical internship at University Hospital at Jacksonville, Florida, surgical internship at Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and finally completion of his residency in ENT at Tulane Medical Center, New Orleans, Louisiana.  Sharing the same family values and reputation for caring as his father, Dr. David soon developed an immensely successful practice.  He also introduced technological innovations of the 1980s to the Houma/Thibodaux areas.  These innovations include use of the C02 Laser for both oral and laryngeal surgery. Along with application of the lasers in ENT, current concepts on the surgical management of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea were introduced for the benefit of our patients. Dr. David considers his strengths in medicine that of middle ear and mastold surgery, reconstructive surgery for hearing, pediatric ENT, evaluation and treatment of migrane headaches, as well as evaluation of reflux and throat disorders.
